WHO WE ARE

Tanzania Green Economy Transformation (TAGET) is a nonprofit organization established on October 2020 that committed to driving sustainable development in Tanzania by fostering green economic growth, with a particular focus on revolutionizing the agriculture sector. Through the adoption and promotion of advanced agricultural technologies, TAGET seeks to enhance productivity, ensure food security, and create environmentally sustainable practices that contribute long-term socioeconomic prosperity to smallholder farmers (youth, women and men).

To lead smallholder farmers towards a green economy, promoting sustainable agriculture, and improving livelihoods through technology-driven solutions.

Mission:

To transform livelihoods and empower smallholder farmers and agribusinesses through innovative agricultural technologies.

Objectives:

1. Promote Agricultural Innovation: Introduce and scale cutting-edge agricultural technologies, including precision farming, smart irrigation systems, and soil health monitoring, to improve yields and reduce resource wastage.

2. Enhance Climate Resilience: Develop strategies and practices that help farmers adapt to climate change by adopting sustainable farming techniques and cost reduction in farming

3. Empower Smallholder Farmers: Provide resources, training, and support for smallholder farmers to adopt green technologies.
